Just for a change the Performance Squad had a night out at Alessandro's Restaurant and no coaches or parents were allowed.
I gather the topic of conversation was not swimming and that many friends got together for a well earned natter (only healthy food and profiteroles - oh yeh!). It was also nice for our Commonwealth Games girl Olivia to chill before her deserved trip to the land of the Kangaroo, Ian Thorpe and Sheila's Wheels and to just be our Liv. It was a great night and we will be doing it all again (date and venue to be decided -what about your ideas?) and no, Max you still can't go.
The owner of Alessandro's Harry (yeh right) says that your behaviour was fantastic and that we are most welcome.
Thanks to all our wonderful swimmers. You're a real credit to the Isle of Man. Many thanks to all those parents who helped transporting the swimmers to and from the restaurant especially those who went out of there way to deliver them home.
