A few thoughts and details on Harrogate and Radford.
Harrogate is short course but the entry times are slightly tougher than Radford but is ideal for those aiming for Island Games Consideration Times, Northern Counties and National Times, it is a well run meet that across the board will suit many swimmers. It is also a distance meet. This is the last chance meet for Island Games Consideration Times.
Radford is Long Course but the times are easier and therefore will allow swimmers who would not get in at Harrogate the opportunity of a meet and as it is first come first served this means the if we get the entries in PDQ then they will be accepted, it covers all distances from 50m to limited 800m and 1500m free.
For sprinters this is the meet for you.
These two meets have dropped on the same weekend this year, and although this does create problems swimmers need to go to the best meet for them, give me a call if you need advise or direction.
Also as Island Games is short course and Nationals and Northern Counties are Long Course this adds to the confusion.
Give me a call if you need more info individual Information.
